Nestled on Telegraph Road in Flat Rock, this unpretentious spot carries the easy rhythm of a local favorite—a place where time moves with a relaxed, welcoming cadence. The walls may not shout for attention, but the warm hum of conversation and the steady clink of plates promise a quietly inviting experience.

The menu feels like a collection of thoughtfully crafted staples—comfort foods that carry a sense of home with every bite. Generous portions like their hearty chicken pot pie or a richly layered chocolate cake evoke the simple pleasures of shared meals and familiar flavors. Whether it’s a warm bowl of chowder or a crispy, satisfying plate of fish and chips, each dish fits snugly into that space between nourishment and nostalgia.
What stands out most here isn’t just the food, but the steady hum of a community hub—a relaxed spot where locals pause their day without rush. There’s a peacefulness that invites both the quick catch-up over coffee and the kind of Sunday breakfasts where biscuits and gravy feel like a small celebration. The charm of Pipers lies in its unvarnished honesty, where good food, friendly faces, and a laid-back vibe come together quietly but meaningfully.
For those seeking a welcoming place that feels deeply rooted yet unpretentious, Pipers Restaurant is a gentle reminder that sometimes the best experiences happen in the spaces where things just feel right—familiar, steady, and honest.

At first glance it looked like a whole in the wall because the outside could use some work. This place however was a pleasant surprise. The food was good and so was the service. The atmosphere was peaceful. I would return to try more options on the menu.

Friendly staff and plenty of chill customers. Have had great food before, however should not have tried the burger this time. it seemed like a frozen patty cooked beyond medium so it was not a great experience. Be sure to get the chocolate cake before it's gone!

One of their All-time Favorites, The Chicken Pot Pie!! Large enough for those who like larger portions, very hot and tasty!!! Nice open areas to eat and enjoy! Service was very good! Alittle pricey, $16 with a raspberry lemonade!! Tasted Good! This is a favorite place for many... plan Your lunch or dinner timing accordingly!! Nice Newer parking area!! Definitely a fine eatery!!! Always a Come back to!!! 2-4 pm is Come sit, after that can get busier!!!

The food was tasty and very generous in portion sizes. Very good service. The chimichanga was a bit spicy for me, but I didn't think to ask, and I'm also a very delicate flower for spicy, so it's likely mild to most people. Looking Forward to trying more of their dishes on my next visit!

I had the pleasure of enjoying Sunday breakfast at Piper’s Restaurant, and it was absolutely fantastic. The biscuits and gravy were a standout—the sausage gravy was out of this world, rich and flavorful, with just the right amount of peppery kick. My over-easy egg was cooked to perfection, with that glorious gooey yolk when cut into. The smoky sausage links were incredibly juicy and tender, and the pancakes had the perfect hint of vanilla in every bite. But the real star for me? The orange walnut grilled bread with honey nut whipped butter—simply divine. Sweet, nutty, and perfectly toasted. Piper’s made for a flawless Sunday morning breakfast. Highly recommend!

Amazing food, friendly staff, fast service! I simply loved this restaurant. We had the burgers and waffle loaded fries. As a side i chose potatoe salad and that was pretty good too. Next time I'd go with fries or coleslaw though. Just my preference... I absolutely will return. We did not try their desert because we simply got too full with all the food. The prices are competitive also and it was definitely worth it. The ambient was warm feeling also. I'd say it's a good place to dine for couples and families.
